reconnect on a glamping family break with hot tubs

Family glamping holiday

Enjoy a family glamping holiday where you can all reconnect, chill out and get a bit outdoorsy. Lots of family play time with space to run around, kick a ball,  get back to nature and splash around in the hot tub. Make and create or go on a bear hunt. Less screen time and more fun time. Then you can return home having giggled a bit more.

Upsticks will cover all the practical stuff, from a baby bundle to food hampers, as well as our signature little extras. So, you can concentrate on having a great time.

Glamping in the Malvern Hills

On the doorstep are the Malvern Hills. Pack a picnic and explore miles of hills, with amazing views, quarry lakes, hidden caves, wooded trails with cafes and pubs dotted along the way.

Eastnor Estate has a Maze to get lost in and plenty of summer events, there’s also the ‘woodshed’ for cake after a walk. Or play with clay at Eastnor Pottery, and take a little momento of your holiday home.

River Wye

If you like to mess about on the water, head down the road to Ross On Wye and enjoy a spot of canoeing, Kayaking or paddle boarding.

There are plenty of providers to take you on a tour, one of the most stunning rivers in the UK. Pack a picnic, and stop off on the river bank (famously featured in Harry Potter). Float around on the water, spot kingfisher and Red Kite’s. It will be a day you won’t forget.

The Forest of Dean

This famous forest has so much going on, from steam railways to caves, off-road cycle tracks to the sculpture trail.

Attractions like Puzzlewood ~ used for filming Merlin, Dr Who amongst others is a magical moss covered valley to explore.  There is a Go Ape centre in the forest, as well as climbing walls and cycle hire with downhill routes, great for teens.

Fun on the farm with outdoorsy fun

Lets face it jumping in a car with everyone and trawling around can get hard work, (especially with little ones). So here’s some ideas on keeping everyone happy staying on the farm.

Young imaginations will run riot in the outdoor play area. Climbing, den making, mud kitchen and the freedom to make up games all day long.

There’ll be creative workshops running in our Nook. Make a bird box, or nature mobile, paint an egg cup, weave a crown or learn how to sew or screen print.  Make a twig person with leaves and sticks. The possibilities are endless.

Children and grown ups love to feed the pet sheep, or find eggs in the chicken coup. There’s free food in our pantry to feed the animals too.

There are a range of adult bikes to hire, with tag alongs too, kids can use their own bikes around the farm.

Enjoy getting the whole family involved in cooking, from pizza making to toasting marshmallows. After you can all have a bit of a splash in the hot tub. Happy days.
