Bookings

All bookings taken online should be treated as provisional until you receive confirmation from us via email. To secure your booking or full payment of the cost of your stay is required.

Payment can be made by debit or credit card on line at the time of your booking. Confirmation of the booking will be sent after payment has been received. Up Sticks Glamping only accepts bookings from persons over 18 years of age. Up Sticks Glamping reserves the right at all times, without statement of reasons, to refuse or cancel a booking.

Arrival

Please advise us of your intended arrival time and update us en-route. Your lodge may not be ready until 3pm but if we are ahead of schedule we will let you know. Please ensure you plan your journey to arrive before 7pm as we need time to show you how everything works.

When you arrive please drive through the five bar gate and park on the gravel. We will meet you there or you are welcome to call at the Farmhouse and we will show you to your lodge. If the ground is dry we do allow guests to drive down to their tent to unpack. The glamping field is car free, so we ask all cars then remain in parking area.

Departure

We ask you to leave your tent at 10:30 on the day of departure, other than weekend guests who are able to leave at 4pm on a Sunday. I politely ask that you do the washing up and remove your rubbish to the bins provided by the parking area. Any extra’s or pantry items need to be settled up before leaving.   .

Cancellation

If you cancel within 6 weeks of your arrival date we will endeavour to re-let your lodge. If we are unable to do so, then we regret that we will be unable to refund any monies paid. Should you cancel prior to this date, we will issue a full refund on any monies paid, or reschedule your stay for another date. An administration fee of £50 will be charged in this instance. We recommend that you have appropriate holiday insurance cover.

In the event that we need to cancel your holiday we shall inform you as soon as possible and refund all monies paid to us, by you, within 14 days of notifying you.

Dogs

We are happy to welcome 2 dogs per lodge. Dogs must be kept under control and on leads at all times around the lodges and farm. We have cats, free range chickens, sheep and goats. Dogs must not be left unsupervised in the lodges. We charge a £25 supplement per dog and provide a bed, towels and bowls for your dog during your stay. Please clean up after your dog. Bins are provided in the storage area beside the lodge.

Noise

Different groups come glamping and we want all our guests to have a good time. However we ask guests to respect others and keep noise down after 10.30pm and before 8am, in consideration of others.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted at any time within the lodge or on the farm

Responsibility

By booking and coming to Up Sticks Glamping you agree to be responsible for your children and any children in your care, and your own welfare and to take all reasonable precautions against personal injury, injury to others and damage to facilities and lodges. Children must be supervised at all times near the ponds and alongside the brook.

While we accept that the odd breakage is inevitable, we reserve the right to charge Guests the cost of significant damage to the glamping facilities.

Use of the facilities at Up Sticks Glamping, such as the pond and fields, is the responsibility of the Guest and is done so at their own risk. Up Sticks Glamping accepts no liability for theft, loss or damage to your property that may arise from your stay at Up Sticks Glamping.

Hot tub

If guest book a hot tub, all wood and towels will be provided. We use sand and UV filters and ask guests to not use any chemicals or toiletries in the hot tub as this will damage them.  You will be responsible for heating the hot tub which takes 2-3 hours from lighting the fire.  Please ensure you do not empty the water from the hot tub and never light the hot tub if empty. Guest are responsible for children at all times when using the hot tub, ensure that you replace the lid of the hot tub to prevent accident and preserve heat.

Pantry

We operate an honesty system at the pantry.  Each lodge has a clip board to note the items they have chosen. The night before departure we will calculate your bill and settle the balance before you leave.  We accept cash or card.
